The recording of images and sound on the vehicles of the service provider by passengers, as well as by third parties other than the service provider and passengers, is only possible with the prior written permission of the service provider. Permission to take a photo can be requested from the service provider in writing (on paper or electronically) by providing the applicant's details, contact details, the circumstances and purpose of the shooting or photography, and in the case of commercials and feature films, the script and synopsis of the film to be shot.

Recording may only be allowed if:

  • does not harm the image of the service provider or public transport,
  • can be supported from a communication point of view,
  • does not obstruct or interfere with the schedule of vehicles and public transport of passengers,
  • does not endanger the provision of public passenger transport services,
  • no risk of accident (e.g. no filming in the driver's cab)
  • is in line with safety and security considerations.

Subject to the above conditions, filming and photography may be carried out on vehicles and in passenger areas with the prior written consent of the service provider. In other cases, the service provider does not permit the recording of images and sound either on the vehicles or in the passenger areas.

The service provider may set a fee for filming and photo shootings.

When making the recording, the provisions of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (Civil Code) on personal rights (in particular Article 2:48 of the Civil Code), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (27 April 2016) and Act CXII of 2011 on the right to information self-determination and freedom of information (Freedom of Information Act) must be taken into account. In all cases, the consent of the persons in the image and/or sound recording for the making, use and processing of the recording must be obtained by the producer of the recording, and the personal data obtained must be processed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the legislation indicated.
